Since it’s inception over 15 years ago, Sierra Testing Laboratories, Inc (STL) has grown into much more than just an exceptional materials testing facility. The ever expanding and diversifying staff has successfully branched out into external roles to further assist and benefit our clientele. Internal project management has always been a key role to facilitate a thorough and precise form of data reporting for every project, no matter its size or scope. STL has expanded capabilities to assist clients with other tools that are growing necessities for today’s highly evolved construction project management. STL has provided many companies with quality control managers, to help ensure that every aspect of the job is controlled and completed successfully, ultimately to the satisfaction of the Owner. Quality control management is a key component to any project, consisting of but not limited to the following tasks:

• Three Phase System of Control – All aspects of Preparatory, Initial and Follow-Up phases of construction quality management.

• Project Plan and Specification review and comprehension.

• Engineering – Concept design and review. Laboratory and field testing data review.

• Scheduling – Scheduling of QC personnel; Scheduling of equipment, materials and supplies; Project Scheduling (Primavera, Suretrak).

• Plan Generation – Quality control; Storm water pollution prevention (SWPPP); Environmental Protection (EPP); Traffic Control; Numerous other plans based on project needs. CADD utilization and application.

• Submittal Procedures – Generation; Compliance Review; Transmittal; Logging and tracking.

• Reporting – Daily Field Reports; QC Inspection and Testing Reports; Final Reports
